Ordering, Fabrics & Bespoke

Because of the exclusive nature of our designs and with so many styles and fabrics, delivery time will vary depending whether we have the item in stock. Standard delivery time is 4-6 weeks but if it is in stock your order will be with you within 2 weeks. Upon receiving your order we will check our stock and inform you of the delivery. There might be times when your order is a few days after the 6 weeks due to customs or unforeseen circumstances but should this happen we will keep you informed.

Although our pieces are of the highest quality and we have strict criteria for quality control, they are hand made and as such there may be minor variations in the precision of embroidery and the position of the patterns on the fabrics but they will always be symmetrical.

We offer a Bespoke Service for made to measure and specific fabric design. Please contact us to arrange your bespoke order.


Shipping

We use Royal Mail registered post for all shipments. The cost is calculated by the weight of the garment and will generally be £10 to the UK. For some styles it will be £15 and for the bedspreads £20.

Outside of the UK the price will depend on weight, value, destination and shipping method. You will be quoted a shipping price in the checkout which is for registered post with Royal Mail. If you would like a different shipping method or want to know the alternatives then please contact us on info@shibumicoats.com.

There is an Express Service option available if you need your garment sooner which incurs an additional fee of £35. The express service is 2-3 weeks.


Terms & Conditions

You will receive an order summary by email once your order has been placed. This summarises your order however it does not confirm it and so Shibumi has the right to and might cancel an order at any time. Order cancellations may occur because but are not limited to; lack of stock to fulfill the order, suspicion of fraud, or any discrepancies on an item’s description or price.

We will contact you if we are unable to fulfill your order based on any of the reasons listed above. If we are unable to fulfill any item(s) in your order we will refund you for those item(s).

Returns & Exchange

Returns, exchanges and store credits are accepted on regular price items within 7 days of shipment if you inform us by email or telephone within 3 days of receipt. All Sale, Bespoke or otherwise personalised items are final sale. Please send an email to info@shibumicoats.com indicating your order number, the item(s) you wish to send back and whether you would like to return, exchange or have a store credit.

Once the returned package is received the appropriate actions will take place depending on your request. All returned items must be unworn, in perfect condition and in it's original packaging. All return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility including any unnecessary duties or custom fees that may be incurred on a return. Shibumi is not responsible for any return items lost or damaged in transit.


Privacy Policy

Under no circumstances will Shibumi sell or disclose any of your personal information to third parties. All information provided by you is to ensure your experience with Shibumi is as best as possible and that information will only be used internally by us.
